FIT (FOREIGN INDEPENDENT TRAVEL)
Our FIT program is available for those clients who wish to travel to Indonesia
without travelling with a group. FIT arrangements generally include hotel
accommodations, transfer, and sightseeing. All FITs are quoted on per
person basis.
IMMIGRATION
All visitors to Indonesia must hold passport which are valid for at least
six months after arrival and have proof on forward journey, either return
or through tickets.
PROPOSAL
/ ITINERARIES
Please determine the length of the trip and category of hotels desired
by your clients before calling our FIT department. This will facilitate
booking procedures. If you wish, we will include a flight itinerary for
you to discuss with your clients.
BOOKING
CONDITIONS
A $100.00 person deposit is required to begin the actual booking (after
acceptance of our tour proposal). A higher deposit may be required depending
on the type of packages on the itinerary. The deposit will become non-refundable
once the reservations are confirmed. Accepted forms of payment are: Personal
Check or Cashiers Check or American Express or Discover Card. In
general cases balance is due 45 days prior to departure. For some special
packages, full payment may be made upon confirmation or sooner than 45
days before departure. However, full payment must be received before they
can be sent. Please allow 10 working days for requested documents to be
processed.
REFUNDS
Refunds cannot be made on any used tour arrangements.
NOT INCLUDED
Tour prices do not include expenses of private nature, such as: laundry,
drinks, telephone calls, meals (over and above those regularly provided),
travel insurance, passport, airport taxes and gratuities to motorcoach
drivers, tour guides, and excess baggage charges.
TOUR FARES
Tour fares which include cost of land arrangements and air transportation,
are quoted in U.S dollars and are based on tariffs and rates of exchange
between U.S. dollars and foreign currencies. Cost of land and air arrangements
are subject to change.
BAGGAGE
Natrabu cannot be held responsible for any baggage. It is at the owners
risk throughout the trip. On transpacific flights the baggage allowance
is 2 pieces of checked baggage totaling 106 inches (the sum of three dimensions),
providing neither piece exceed 62 inches. Intra-Asia baggage allowance
is 44 pounds.
TRAVEL
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend trip cancellation and baggage insurance.
HOTELS
Hotel accommodations are based on air-conditioned
room with twin beds shared by 2 people, with a private bath or shower.
However, travelling in remote locations or on a houseboat, air-conditioning
and private facilities cannot always be guaranteed.
CANCELLATION
GROUND
Any cancellation (reduction in service is considered a cancellation) is
subject to an administrative fee of $100.00 per person (a higher penalty
may be required depending on the type of packages) plus the following
penalties: Cancel between 45-16 days prior to departure: 35% of the total
package cost penalty / per person Cancel between 15-8 days prior to departure:
50% of the total package cost penalty/per person Cancel between 7 days
prior to departure or no shows, the total package is non-refundable. AIR-Air
cancellation fees will be in accordance with airlines published rules
and regulations.
ADDITIONAL
REQUIREMENTS LIABILITY
Natrabu and/or supplier of service assume no responsibility for any injury,
death, damages, loss or delay incurred by any person in connection with
the services of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motorcoach or any
other conveyance or by any reason for any event beyond the control of
the operator or supplier. If it becomes necessary or advisable for the
comfort or well being of the passengers or for any reason whatsoever to
alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be without penalty
to the tour operators of any additional charges may be collected from
passengers at time of occurrence. The right is reserved to withdraw any
or all tours should condition warrant and to decline to accept or retain
any passenger as a member of a tour. In such instance, full equitable
amount will be refunded, but this amount shall not exceed the amount paid
by the passenger during operation of the tour. The sole responsibility
of any airlines used in any tour is limited to the stated in passanger
contact between the stated carrier and the passenger. The schedule contains
herein is subject to change without notice. The service of any IATA or
ARC carrier may be used in connection with these tours. The payment of
the required deposit or any partial or full payment for reservation of
a trip shall constitute consent to all provisions in the conditions and
general information list. Cruise itineraries and departures are subject
to change due to sea and weather conditions, availability of safe anchorage
and other factors. Every effort will be made to keep to the program as
planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary is issued.
We cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from delayed or cancelled
trancportation services, changes of schedule or other conditions out of
our control. Participation in our tours implies the tourists agreement
